Welcome to the new display cabinet

Hi all,

Little Eleville is on the move to a new display cabinet which has 3 class shelves for display and a two shelf cupboard underneath for storage. I have so many buildings that they don't all fit... maybe in the future i might be lucky to get some other units in the future but for now this works well.

We are just about to have some building work done in the spare room which is why my collection is on the move. The cabinet is second hand and is very well made! The rest of the collection is in a chest of drawers and a big box!

Here are some pictures of how some of the villiagers are enjoying their new home...

So lots going.... things will be like this until my sister moves out... and then i might get the chance to have the newly changed spare room... but for now this will do.

Hello all

Hello Little Eleville readers :)
I've been very busy since September and haven't really had much time for my sylvanians. A story is on its way soon. During november i was lucky to go to Australia for 3 and a half weeks for a holiday and to meet my aussy family. Even though the Springers came along with me, I didn't take any pictures. Such a shame.
I hope everyone has had a good holidays and got some special presents.
One of my presents was a £10 gift voucher for my fave Sylvanian shop... so my friend and i went for a visit! And these are what i got... some vintage flair and some 25th anniversary sylvanians too!
All 3 foreign exchange students sets, Gosh how i LOVE Hamish Mcwalkies costume!!! Such a cute outfit!!
I also got Evie's sleep over, so she now can join my other Hawthorn family :)
And my much wanted ... The Sylvanian Toy Shop... oh its so cute :) memories of the real shop there!
Hope you are all well, and happy new year! :)

Look what i have rescued!

I have been searching for a vintage cottage for a long time - ever since i had to send my one to the charity shop 8 yrs ago! I never really got over sending it away, after i discovered it was vintage!!!

Today i found this little lot on a friends facebook page! It needs a lot of TLC and fixing (regluing the front panel on, getting a new door hinge and redecorating). The characters need a wash, a new grey tail for one of the mice and new clothes for all. And i need to wash all the furniture. But overall £20 for this little lot wasn't to bad considering!!
Lets just hope that i can fix it up and make it a pleasent place to live once more! Now to go and buy... Some Plastic Superglue, a new hinge and some new Wallpapers to cover up what was once there. And repaint the roof area... Can't have kiddy drawings in it now can we?!

Hello everyone :)

Hi,
Its been ages since i last updated this blog! I'm sorry about that, but unfortunetly yet again I can't get to my collection and village due to things being in the spare room and in the way of my desk! Grrr... I certainly haven't forgotten about my blog though.

I finally have created a brand new Backdrop for my blog and i can't wait to be able to put it up... it looks very professional! :)
New backdrop - just painted.
Well in the past two months i have got some new families and completed another....
In July I welcomed Suzette Skimkins and Bazel Hazelwood - the Hazelwood family will be happy! I was very lucky to find them as a set brand new on Ebay and still in their original packaging from a hotel!

Bazil Hazelwood and Suzette Skimkins

And today I made a very special trip to SSK! I can't believe I have visited 4 times and today I signed their book and took some little friends along with me to.. Breezy Babblebrook and Maria Buckley - Mind i didnt get many pictures of them there... too many people in the shop! I bumped into another adult collector who is from Ireland, Now that was exciting and made a change from just the children! There was a young chinese family who were getting so many families and sets - i couldn't quite believe my eyes! and a young girl who just couldn't decide on what to get! I can certainly sympathise with her!

Well today i bought two new families who i have been wanting for a while - The Oringinal Flair Nettlefield goats - oh how i love them! I wanted to get them in 2003 when they first came out but didnt get round to it, but as they just happend to be there on the shelf i picked them up, i am glad i did - Oh how i LOVE Ramsey's Beard!!! I also just happend to pick up all of the Buttercup family! they are so cute in person - Thanks to "Cutata" and others with them - reading your blogs has made me warm to the buttercup family!

Breezy and Maria enjoyed their trip!

Nettlefield goats!
The Buttercup family!
Here are some photos of SSK's brilliant Displays - I love going to the shop, just to see the displays! Especially when i can't get to my own collection! I also managed to get a photo with giant Fraya Chocolate and Ralph walnut! :)

There we go, such a super day i have had and also now in the mood to try and get that spare room more tidy... or at least clear a space by the desk!
Hope you are all doing well
Happy Sylvanian collecting!

Neptunes sea otters adventures on the Gower Coast - Part 2

The sunset.

Shelly and her father Caspian were very lucky last night. We travelled to Rhosili Bay last night to watch the sunsetting in the sky! Shelly had brought her camera with her and she got some pictures to!

Neptune sea otters, adventure holiday to the Gower Coast, part 1.

Hello,

I just wanted to let you all know that the Neptune Sea Otters are on holiday in the Gower Coast of south Wales :). Oxwich bay is just a short walk down a hill from the cottage we are staying at. A lovely sunny day for a trip to the beach. I just hope the neptunes will be ok after their first trip to the sanndy beach!
First stop  they visited a beach and nature reserve called Oxwich Bay. A very sandy beach!
Here they all are standing on a sand dune - i think sandy might have found a shell for her sister!
Family portraite with shells found on the bay. This stream joins the sea! I love this picture, its like they are home here :)

Another adventure will be up this evening hopefully. :)
